A studio built around predictable results and calm hygiene

omnelyx is a Clerkenwell, London studio for custom tattooing and piercing. Our process is simple: design work that fits the body, a controlled station setup, and aftercare that reads like a checklist.

Founding story

omnelyx opened in 2018 after noticing a recurring issue in London studios: excellent artwork delivered with inconsistent planning. The gap wasn’t talent—it was the unglamorous infrastructure. Consultations were rushed, sizing decisions weren’t documented, and aftercare was often vague. That combination produces avoidable touch-ups and preventable stress during healing.

The studio was designed around repeatable steps. Each booking starts with a brief that captures placement, scale, and style references; each station follows a barrier-first setup; each client leaves with written guidance that can be followed on a busy day. The goal is straightforward: work that looks deliberate when fresh and remains legible when settled.

What we standardise

Stencil fit checks, needle grouping choices, saturation pacing, and aftercare milestones. Standardising the process is how we protect the art.

Mission

Deliver custom tattooing and piercing with studio-grade hygiene and modern artistry, using a methodical workflow that keeps decisions clear: composition, placement, and healing guidance.

Tattoo design fit

We test stencil placement and scale before the first pass, keeping line weight readable as the tattoo settles.

Station control

Barrier protection, single-use needles, and structured resets between clients are part of the baseline, not an add-on.

Piercing clarity

Marking, jewellery materials, bar length, and swelling windows are discussed before the procedure begins.

Written aftercare

You leave with a simple plan: washing, moisturising, and what to avoid during early healing.

Team

Each artist has a defined lane. That keeps consultations efficient and avoids forcing a style fit that doesn’t make sense for the piece. For portfolio examples, visit the Gallery and include style references in your booking request.

Mara K.

Tattoo Artist (Fine-line, micro detail)

Mara has spent 8 years focused on crisp linework and small-scale composition that stays readable after healing. She is methodical about stencil alignment and needle grouping, and she prefers designs with intentional spacing over crowded detail. Clients often book her for delicate florals, minimal illustrative pieces, and lettering that prioritises kerning and clean terminals. Her portfolio highlights include fine-line forearm and ankle placements with long-term legibility in mind.

Theo R.

Tattoo Artist (Blackwork, illustrative)

Theo has 10 years of experience with blackwork and contrast-led illustrative pieces. His approach starts with a reading-distance check: the design should still make sense from across a room. He plans negative space and edge control early, then works in structured passes to avoid overworking darker fills. Theo’s portfolio is strongest in bold botanicals, graphic animals, and textured shading that stays stable as the tattoo settles.

Aisha N.

Piercer (ASTM-grade materials, aftercare guidance)

Aisha has 7 years working with precision marking and jewellery selection for calm healing. She is known for clear explanations of swelling windows, bar length choices, and what to avoid in the first weeks. Her appointments include material guidance (implant-grade titanium and appropriate alternatives), a tidy station setup, and written aftercare that prioritises steady cleaning over aggressive routines. Portfolio highlights include ear cartilage and lobe work with a conservative placement plan.

How we match you to an artist

We route enquiries by style and placement. Fine-line benefits from measured spacing and gentle pass control; blackwork benefits from contrast planning and edge discipline; piercing bookings depend on anatomy and jewellery considerations. If you already know your preference, select an artist in your message. If not, describe the style references and we will suggest the best match.

Fast routing

Include placement, approximate size, and 2–3 style references. It reduces back-and-forth and helps us estimate session length.
