A gallery built around readable work
This page is a curated selection of our tattoo and piercing work. The goal is to show how the studio approaches line weight, contrast, and placement—not to overwhelm you with endless scrolling. If a piece catches your eye, use the booking form to share a reference and the placement you’re considering.
How to use this gallery
When you enquire, include one or two gallery items you like and a short note about what you like about them. It helps us map your references to practical decisions: line density, contrast plan, and session pacing.
- Pick a style direction (fine-line, illustrative, blackwork, colour)
- Tell us placement and approximate size
- Add timing preferences for scheduling
A note on safety and hygiene
Every appointment is handled with barrier protection, single-use needles, and a documented station reset. If you’re booking piercing, we’ll also confirm jewellery material and aftercare details before you leave.
Tattoo work
These examples highlight decisions that help tattoos age well: deliberate negative space, controlled saturation, and line weight that remains legible after healing. During consultation, we’ll talk through how your placement and skin movement affect the final composition.
Fine-line: controlled spacing
Fine-line work relies on spacing decisions as much as needle choice. We keep micro details readable by widening key gaps and avoiding tight clusters that can merge during healing.
Blackwork: contrast plan
Solid black areas are planned with negative space in mind so the piece still reads at a distance. The aim is crisp edges rather than overworked fill.
Illustrative: calm shading passes
Texture and shading are built in layers, with breaks where needed. This keeps the skin response predictable and reduces the chance of patchy heals.
Colour: controlled saturation
Colour pieces are paced with a layering plan so the work stays even without overworking the area. We’ll discuss how colour behaves across placements and sun exposure.
Minimal linework: placement-first
Minimal pieces depend on exact placement. We stencil-test where the design sits as you move, so the final piece looks intentional from multiple angles.
Process: stencil fit and alignment
A clean stencil transfer and alignment check reduces surprises. We confirm orientation, symmetry where relevant, and how the piece flows with anatomy before the first pass.
Want to match a style to an artist?
Our artists have distinct approaches to linework, contrast, and composition. If you’re deciding between styles, the Artists page is the quickest way to align your references with the right specialist—without guesswork.
Piercing work
Piercing is shown here as a studio workflow: marking, jewellery selection, and aftercare guidance. For every appointment, we confirm anatomy, use sterile single-use components, and provide clear healing milestones.
Sterile setup and station control
We set up with barrier protection and keep tools staged cleanly. The workflow is designed to be calm and predictable, not rushed.
Marking and placement checks
Placement is confirmed before the procedure, including a quick visual check for symmetry where relevant. We want the result to sit naturally on your anatomy.
Jewellery guidance for healing
Material and sizing choices matter. We discuss jewellery options and what to avoid during the swelling window so healing stays steady.
